[email protected] an HTML page providing a visual presentation of the Library's print collection.

The script first extracts call numbers from the Voyager MFHD. Only the first three digits are used, and non-Dewey numbers are ignored. A hash is built with a count of MFHD holdings against each Dewey-thousand.

On completion of the scan, an HTML page is produced as described above.

Clicking on a category will link to the Library Catalogue to browse that category.

Dewey Classification headings are ranked according to the number of items under each heading.

Ranking is indicated by a larger or smaller size : the larger the text, the greater the number of items.

Moving the cursor over a category will reveal the Dewey number and number of items in the category.
