What are genetic disorders?
Genetic disorders are problems that happen in the DNA. A part of the DNA was not reproduce correctly. This problem causes a part of an organism to malfunction. The malfunction can have treatments but they do not work always or they do not have a treatment. Any little change that is made in the DNA usually has a huge effect on a organism for example the function of the heart or other parts of the body.
Dextrocardia
When the heart is not in the correct position instead of being on the left it is on the right
Usually happens to toddlers
Identified when are a little older
Symptoms
May not have symptom when the heart is functioning well.
Bluish skin
Hard to breath
Difficult to gain weight and grow
Fatigue
Pale skin
Many sinus or lung infections
How it is inherited?
Family carry that gene ( cannot prevent it)
It is recessive and not that common
