Reuse and Recycle.

FEEL

Children discussed the problem that they see around their school and community. Then they listed down all the problems that they feel their community faces. Children felt that plastic litters are a big problem and

chose to tackle that problem.

IMAGINE

In this step they looked at all the possible solution to solve the problems of plastic litters. They discussed and came up with the solution to use

these plastic wastes to make cushions.

DO

The children asked

their friends and teachers to segregate wastes

and to give their plastic wastes to the club. The whole school

came together to reuse the plastic wrappings and other plastic products to make cushions.

The DFC kids washed the plastics, dried them and cut it into small pieces. These pieces were then used as stuffing for cushions. They also

came up with the idea to reuse pet bottles and plastic oilcans. These were used to make flowers pots, brooms, dustpans, garden shovels and

mini green house.

SHAREChildren shared their idea to make plastic cushions with other children and urged them to reuse plastics meaningfully instead of throwing it everywhere and littering the environment. They also

shared their idea of reusing other plastic materials like pet bottles and plastic oil cans.
