શ્રીજી સ્વાંગ પ્રકવશે, વ્મલ પીઠ્રે, મુક્ત મધ્યે વિરવજ,ેShreeji svaanga prakaashe, veemla peetavare, mukta madhye beeraje,

The lustre of Shreeji’s own Murti takes the form of a divine throne, upon which He is seated amongst the assembly of His Mukta (divine liberated souls),

That is the throne of the Naad-vansh, where all the deities come daily for darshan;

Lord Shree Swaminarayan is a Saday Divya Sakar Murti

Page 8: DHARMIC SINCHAN SABHA ENGLISH KATHA

સવકર - Distinct form

સદવય - Forever

દદવ્ય - Divine

Lord Shree Swaminarayan has a distinct form (Sakar);

forever a distinct form (Saday Sakar); and forever a

divine, distinct form (Saday Divya Sakar).

Page 9: DHARMIC SINCHAN SABHA ENGLISH KATHA

સવકર (Sakar) – Distinct form➢ I am the overall controller of everything; I am omniscient, immensely blissful

and exist with a form with two arms (Dwibhuj)

(Vachanamrut , Loya Section, Chapter 18)

➢ “ If God can see, then does it mean that he only has eyes? He has hands and

legs as well. This advocates that a distinct form exists.

( Vachanamrut, Gadhada First Section, Chapter 45)

વનરવકવર (Nirakar) - Formless

➢ Wherever scriptures mention Nirakar this purely means that God does not

have a mortal (Mayik) form but He does have a divine extraordinary form.

(Sarvopari Ananya Upasana, English, p78)

Page 10: DHARMIC SINCHAN SABHA ENGLISH KATHA

How can God be both Sakar and Nirakar??

➢Lord Shree Swaminarayan is both Sakar and Nirakar

➢ Sakar aspect is looking human-like with two arms, eyes and legs

➢Nirakar aspect refers to His tej (lustre) and not having a

mortal (mayik) form like us humans.

➢He is predominantly Sakar but has Nirakar elements

Page 11: DHARMIC SINCHAN SABHA ENGLISH KATHA

વનરવકવર (Nirakar) - Formless

➢ If a reader is not fully devoted to the Lord, the Murti of God can be misunderstood as

being formless

➢ “God has no form”, “He has the form of lustre”, “God is free from material attributes”

All-Pervading aspect of God➢ Having a distinct form and remaining in Akshardham, God appears within infinitely many

cosmoses

➢ “I am not visible to you so that the inclination of your mind remains concentrated on me.

For that purpose I am not visible, but in reality, I remain with a distinct form within you.”

(Vachanamrut, Loya Section, Chapter 18)

(Vachanamrut, Gadhada First Section, Chapter 66)

Page 12: DHARMIC SINCHAN SABHA ENGLISH KATHA

સદવય સવકર (Saday Sakar) – Forever a distinct form

➢ Eternally unchanging

➢ Looks are akin to a newly adolescent child (Navin Kishor ન્ીન દકશોર)

➢ This youthful form of God has always existed and will continue to exist.

➢ God does not merely have a distinct (Sakar form); He has forever a distinct

form (Saday Sakar)

“What is the true form of God?” I shall answer this. God is

the embodiment of truth, consciousness and

bliss (sat – chit – anand) and a lustrous Murti. Each of His

pores contains the brilliance of millions and millions of

suns. God's beauty is such that the beauty if millions of

Kamdevs (the deity of lust and passion) is put into

insignificance. He is the Lord of infinitely many cosmoses.

He is the sovereign Lord and the controller of all. He is

omniscient and utterly blissful. In comparison to His bliss,

the joy of admiring innumerable beautiful women is

insignificant. The pleasures of the five sensations, either of

this world or the next, are trivial in comparison with the

bliss of God’s Murti. Such is the form of God. This form

always has two arms (Dwibhuj). However, by His own will,

He may show Himself to have four arms, eight arms or

even a thousand arms.
