Project Description:This project is responsible for all L2/L3 kind of activates for ING midrange servers/applications. I started from KT phase in ING North America (Insurance) project and we support almost 1500+ UNIX servers running in different flavors of UNIX and LINUX.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Responsible for all L1 kind of activities on Linux, Mainframe for AVON retail client Monitoring the mainframe jobs and scheduling the jobs in Zeke, Autosys. Analyzing and

re- running the failed jobs. Analyzing the abnormalities in Batch Schedules and taking necessary actions. Analyzing and troubleshooting the Job failures using UNIX log files Creating User ID for new users and providing required access for existing users based

on their requests. Systems administration, maintenance and monitoring various day-to-day operations Monitoring overall uptime work flows/jobs of all the servers & applications in UNIX. Monitoring System Performance of Virtual memory, System events, Swapping, Disk

utilization, CPU utilization Taking care of health of file systems.

Maintains, monitors, health of server. Ensuring Operational Stability through Health check’s Daily, Weekly and Need based. Management of Outages on the complete IT Infrastructure of the client. This involved
