What is Diabetes?• When a persons body
stops producing insulin
• The insulin helps the glucose into the cell
• If the glucose can’t get into the cells, the cells don’t get enough energy
• Then the person gets tired
Type 1 v.s Type 2
• Type 11. Usually happens to children2. Known as juvenile diabetes
• Type 21. Happens to people who are over weight2. Known as adult-onset diabetes
The Treatment
• Take insulin either by shots or a pump
• Eating healthy• Checking blood
sugar levels• Being active
