    System Service Diagnostics Screen

    Important

    For systems with Software Version 4.1, you must have a Session ID for access to theService Functions and Diagnostics. See SERVICE BULLETIN 843.

    1 At the main menu, touch:

    3 Check that the TX and RX LEDs are blinking on the MASTER CENTRAL PROCESSINGUNIT BOARD A2 and on the NETWORK CARD in the computer.

    Completes the calibration of:

    Starts a COLLECTOR PROFILE for all sizes ofSTORAGE PHOSPHOR PLATES.

    Allows calibration of the PLATES exposed at 15 - 25 mR.

    Displays the date and time of the last successfulcalibration.

    Provides the ability to:

    make a backup of the current calibration files from theSCANNER to the computer

    restore from the computer backup

    Cause 2: The ALIGNMENT CAM CLEAR SENSOR malfunctioned.

    Action: Check the ALIGNMENT CAM CLEAR SENSOR. See ALIGNMENT CAMS /BELTS.

    Cause 3: The DC ALIGNMENT CAM MOTOR M5 malfunctioned.

    Action: 1. Check the CONNECTORS J1/P1.

    2. Do the checkout for the MOTION SYSTEM CONTROL BOARD A1.

    Description: The ALIGNMENT CAM did not move to the ENGAGE POSITION in theavailable time.

    Cause 1: A mechanical bind occurred.
