    Hit Map

no hit map at current stage..... we lost synchronization between fileson two scopes .... need to analize about 30 Gb databut:

    all chanels active

    no evidence of cross-talk

    inter-strips events observed

    double hit at high rate(?)

    Summary

1 x 1 cm2 pcCVD diamond double sided strip detector tested in 25MeV proton beam. All requirements (apart of size.....) ofGamHadron hodoscope fulfiled:

position resolution - strip size limited (more precise forinter-strip events)

time resolution σ =308 ps (vs. plastic (plastic limited)) andσ =101 ps (vs. 3DDD (low E field))

rate capability (drift velocity limited) 0.1 GHz per strip for 500µm thick

stable operation, no evidence of cross-talk

    radiation hard (?)

    Now need: 10 x 10 cm2 diamond (mosaic), multichannel integratedelectronics ...
