RIG THE U.S.PRESIDENTIALELECTION?

DID RUSS IA

BY FRANCES LOCKE

FICTION FACTOne of the most widespreadnarratives of the 2016 United Statespresidential election was thatRussian leader / shirtless horse ridingenthusiast President Vladimir Putinwas trying to interfere in the race ina way that

Washington Professorresearching post-Sovietconspiracy theories,

"There is likely some truth tosome of these allegations, butthere has also been a bit ofRussia-hysteria recently onthe part of some pundits,

politicians, and media."

would help his palDonald J Trump,

aka the guy whowon the election.

According toScott Radnitz, a

THE DNC HACK

RUSS IA 'S FAKE NEWS

ELECT ION ANOMALIES

Probably. Here is 3 key pieces of evidence

010203

The most solid example of Russianinvolvement in the presidentialelection was the July 2016Democratic National Committeeemail hack. In late July Rep.Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla.,resigned from her DNC chairposition after embarrassing emailswere revealed in the subsequentWikileaks dump.

02Russian media websites like RT, Sputnik, etc. have spread fakeor misleading news stories during the election.

RUSSIAN FAKE NEWS

RT , SPUTNIK , ETC

Sputnik published an article claimingthe Podesta email dump included

incriminating comments re: Benghazi,an allegation that turned out to be false.

Trump even repeated this B.S. story.

However, claims that the Russiangovernment are actually behind thesefalse stories has (so far) been unproven.

ELECTION DAYANOMALIESPrior to the election, Russians gained access to voter registration recordsin Arizona and maybe other states, though it isn't clear if the culprits wereacting on Russian government orders or not.

In regards to the actual Election Day, President Obama said in a statementthat he believes "our elections were free and fair from a cybersecurityperspective."

BUT, computer scientists recently flagged voter results anomalies in a fewcounties that use electronic voting (all in swing states);

VOTER TALLY FRAUD ?

Wisconsin, Pennsylvania andMichigan, which quicklyprompted recount demands.

The evidence in Wisconsin isespecially intriguing...

INTRIGUE, YOU SAY?

There's a huge statistical difference betweenthe Wisconsin counties with a 100% digitalsystem and those that also have a paperballot back-up. In the paper ballot countiesthat Obama won in 2012, Clinton's losses wereabout 2%.

However, in 100% digital counties Obamathat won, Clinton lost by a whopping 10–15%.

Not only that, but Putin HATES HRC. Back in2011, when mass protests against Putinerupted in Moscow he made clear who hethought then Secretary of State HillaryClinton was to blame.

After protesters accused him ofelection rigging, Putin hadharsh words for HRC,

“She said they were dishonestand unfair,” and claimed shegave “a signal” todemonstrators who wereworking “with the support ofthe U.S. State Department” toundermine his position.

According to Putin, “We needto safeguard ourselves fromthis interference in our internalaffairs.”

Putin is also very much awarethat HRC took a harder stancetoward Moscow than others inthe Obama administration.

So now Putin considers Clintona powerful proponent of the“regime change” policies hesees as a grave threat to hispower.

THE HATERADE IS STRONG

BUT WAIT,THERE'S MORE!

Though he claims otherwise,Trump's connections in Russia

go WAY back. His variousrelationships with the nation

span 30+ years, fromGorbachev's Soviet era to

Putin's current reign ofshirtless terror.

It seems pretty damning, right?

Still, based on the evidence fromsources like Politifact theRussian government probablydidn’t contribute in any real wayto Trump’s win. Still, we shouldbe deeply concerned over thepossibility that a hostile foreigngovernment may have tried tointerfere in our elections.

Back in 1972, burglars broke intothe DNC headquarters in theWatergate office complex.

Afterward, President RichardNixon was forced out of officefor his involvement in thesubsequent cover up.

Now, barely a generation later,we have a foreign adversarycommitting a digital break inof the same DNC in order toleak information to benefit aparticular presidentialcandidate. And America isacting it like it’s politics asusual.

Welcome to the Trump'sAmerica. Buckle up, it’s gonnabe a bumpy ride..
