This CII survey looked into workplace salaries in the insurance sector revealed that, of over 5,700 professionals surveyed, Chartered professionals earn on average 25% more than non Chartered practitioners. The research — aimed to demonstrate workplace behavioural trends in the profession — also found employees working for insurers earn on average 12% more than brokers, with 66% of brokers in the lowest salary bands, earning up to £35k, compared to 55% of insurers. The survey looked in depth into a wide variety of topics concerning workplace salaries in the sector. Other notable findings included; high levels of workplace stress, interest in work being just as motivating as financial rewards, and the sector’s overall commitment to continual professional development (CPD) appearing to be strong. The survey also included an online infographic.

Skills and talent are burning issues for businesses of all shapes and sizes, across all sections of the economy. Insurance is no different in that respect. Each year we survey our members in order to paint a picture of the skills situation within general insurance. This is the seventh year we have run the survey.

All events are tailored to the sponsor’s requirements and are developed according to key objectives.

This intimate and exclusive format allows the sponsor to discuss a specific issue with a hand-picked group of potential customers and other industry stakeholders. The CII will invite delegates, chair the meeting and provide a full event management service.

*rates subject to alteration based on venue location

Webinars allow you to reach a wider audience over a longer period of time than traditional face to face events. As well as being available to view live, these videos will be hosted on the CII’s website for up to 12 months, so they can be watched on-demand viewings. Webinar sponsors are invited to provide a senior member of staff, or a client, to join the speaker panel. The CII will recruit additional speakers, market the event and provide a full event management service. Sponsors will also have access to all data captured from registered and opted in viewers.

The briefing format is effectively a ‘mini-conference’, incorporating three short presentations and a panel discussion on a niche topic allowing delegates to learn a lot without taking too much time out of the office. As a sponsor you benefit from the opportunity to network with an audience of 20-50 engaged delegates, and to work with the CII to develop content and speaker ideas.

CII EVENTS PROVIDE THE OPPORTUNITY FOR NETWORKING, DATA CAPTURE, BRAND BUILDING AND THOUGHT LEADERSHIP
