Player has complete control over its digimon. 2. You need to complete some task in order to digivolve. 3. The level of your digimon can reach more level 100. 4. This game emphasis on digivolving not finishing the game. 5. This game has three difficulty level which is normal, hard and super hard.Note: Every different mode gives you different digivolve ability.

3.General Information about digivolve ability -When you gain a digivolve ability, that new digimon level is 1 -The digivolved digimon is permanent. -You change your digimon in the Central, the place where you change your weapon. -The skill of that digimon is all 1. -Digivolved digimon have healing skill at level 1 or maybe at level 12.

Activation of Side Quest------------------------------------------------In the first Stage, there is a point where you will beAsked to rescue 10 digimon. You can either save them allor don't brother about them. But to activate the sidequest, you need to save them. It is really quite simple.After you have save them all, they will occupy some emptyspace. There are 4 in the domain area, 5 in the where you

area where you save, and lastly 1 in the shoping area.

All you need to activate this side queat is to ask.But most of them still need other requirements.

Item retrieve-------------Ask one of the digimon which activates side quest in the domain area and agree to help out. Then go the central,and go to the upper side of th Central, and the digimon on the uppest left side. Then, agree to help out.

Item Road---------Need to finish all of the stage and the digimonwhich activates it in the Central.

Wamu Platform-------------You need to finish all the 9 side quest.

The Legandary Sutajiamu-----------------------Speak with the digimon which unlock this sidequest a few times.Then, go to second stage to a new dungeon.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------E. Easy way to clear Item retrieve----------------------------------------------------------------------------1.Normal and HardFirstly, you will need this weapon ƒ\[ƒhƒLƒƒƒmƒ“ƒÂ. Then you put this in �the bank. Get into the mission and take the shortest route. When you reach back to the base,go to the bank and get that weapon out. Lastly, talk to the digimon and you will get the digivolve ability.

2.Super Hard

In Super Hard mode, there is a slight changing. You need the weapon ƒuƒ‰ƒXƒ^[ƒKƒ“ from alpha to sigma (try it out yourself �cause I don't know which one is it). Then, do the same thing again.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------F.About Undead Yard--------------------------------------------------------------------------Undead Yard would become the aim for every beginner in this gameto gain their digimon digivolve ability. Therefore, is vitalto finish this stage as early as possible.The best solutionis to find some friends to help you out. Their level should be atlevel 25 above to clear it in normal mode.

In Undead Yard, normal mode has 279 monsters, where hard modehas 302 mosters. But I don't know the actual number in Super Hard so I hope somebody could help me out.

To find all the digimon you need to destroy three hidden doors.Two of them are on the first floor and one them is on the secondfloor. In the first floor, one of them is at a T-junction. Thesecond one is near the electric floor. In the second floor,the hidden door is at the south of the portal which send youback.

Also note that do not destroy the machine in the second floorwhich generates those mummies.

Besides that, in the second floor please beware of the first areaWhere you fought those insect. After you finshed off the monstersat the second area, go back to the first area to fight anotherwave of monsters. This for normal mode.

For Hard mode I am still not clear about the monsters location. But I am clear that there 302 monsters and aslo that there isno changes for the map in this stage.

Also remember that you have only 30 minute to finish it.So find some friend to help you out just as I said.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------G.Item Trading Side Quest----------------------------------------------------------------------------(Under Progress)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------H.Seal The Souls--------------------------------------------------------------------------In hard mode this side quest should be a piece of cake to obtain the digivolve ability. All you need is a high level digimon and

a good weapon. The time starts to run when you place the item on to the that machine. You have only 15 minute to run away from the dungeon. But to obtain digivolve ability you must have 10 minute remaining. Luckily you only need to battle 8 monsters in order to run out of the dungeon. You need to battle the fisrt group which contain of 6 monster to open the door. Then, when you reachto the exit you will notice a red door had blocked the road. Defeat those two squid-like monsters near the door and the reddoor will open up. Moreover, this dungeon only consist of two floor.So, time isn't problem.

Note: You should decide the route to escape yourself because it is really easy. Moreover it is hard to describe the route.

In Super Hard, I still don't know how to get digivolve ability.Although rumors has it you need ƒfƒBƒtƒFƒ“ƒXƒƒ€ƒÂ as a sacrificing item. �If anyone know how to get it please inform me. Thank you.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------I.Item Road-------------------------------------------------------------------------This mission is like all other, pretty straight forward. Don't worry about the treasure chest, they won't affected the doors.All you need to do is to beat the boss.

To activate it, go to the area where you save. At the upper area, talk to the first two digimon (because there are two more on the northern side, one of them will mention about the Item Road. Talk to it a few times. Go to the place where you teleport to the stages, you will notice nothing had changed. Don't worry, choose the last stage (BATTLE ARENA). Go to the place where the dungeons are located. You should notice that a new dungeon will appear.That is the dungeon ITEM ROAD.

****Important*****You need to finish all four stages before you can enter itin that particular mode.

There are 10 Side Quests in this game. One of them is the Dungeon called Item Trader Hall. There are Digimon in that Dungeon and they will trade Itemswith you. In other words, that is a good place to get strong Items. If you get an Item the Digi-Elf is interested in she will trade it with another, stronger Item.

For example: In normal difficulty I got Crusher Y (gamma) without modes. The Digi-Elf traded that Item with a Blue Crusher Y with two modes.

That was just an example, but this guide is based on hard and v. hard mode.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~/ 2. Side Quest requirements /~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

1. You need to rescue all then Digi-Elves in Numenume River:

Actually, the Digi-Elf that gives this quest is only one of the ten, but you don't know which? So you need to rescue all of them or after each rescue mission look if the Digi-Elf is on her place.

REMEMBER:

You can go to the rescue mission as many times as you want.Once the Digi-Elf is saved, it's saved forever and you don't need to rescue it ever again unless you turn of the console without saving the game.All the damage you take will be transfered to the boat, so be carefull.Remember to destroy the gate when it closes, so you don't take damage.After the gate, destroy all 8 towers (6 small, 2 big) or a bomb will explodeand you have to start over.Shoot off all the cannons or you will have trouble with the missiles.

2. Once you have rescued the particular Digi-Elf you will find her north of the Card Keeper. You will see two Digi-Elves, ignore them and go further north, there will be another two Digi-Elves standing to each other and the one straight of you will give you the quest.

3. In both hard and very hard mode, you need to trade 8 times a set of 9 Key Chains with PrinceMamemon in order to play the side quest.

/ 3. Imprortant note /~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

After you have the side quest the Bank will be closed until the quest is over.So, withdraw ot deposit Items in the bank before speaking with the Elf.

It would be the best if you deposit all your equipment into the bank beforespeaking to the Digi-Elf. Having some Items like Victor Sword will cause sometrade chains not to work, so be carefull.

Q: But I must have at least weapon in my slot. What can I do?

A: Try equiping a starter weapon like Blunt Axe, Slash Sword, Bash Katana, Stab Dagger, Shot Pistol or Crush Arm. These are non-transfereable weapons, so no one will trade them.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~/ 4. Item Trader Hall /~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Like metioned above, this is the dungeon where the Digimon trade their Items.In hard and v. hard mode, there are hidden rooms which you can only access by breaking walls. I will tell you where the walls are, which Digimon thereare and because there are some same Digimon I will give them numbers.

A picture is worth thousand words. I will try to explain it in words, but don't worry, it won't be thousand words.

In the Trader Hall, there are seven not-hidden rooms. First, there is the mainroom, the big one which you enter at the beginning. On the left and right sideof the main room, there are three smaller rooms.

Hidden rooms:

First go to the left side and into the left middle room, the room without any Digimon. The wall opposite the entrance is a breakable wall. Break it. Go in and go north until you come to a switch and a locked door. Hit the switch to unlock the door. In the next room there is a locked door south of you, butyou won't see it. You'll think it's a wall. It isn't. Look at the north wall and you will find a path which leads to a room with a wall switch. Hit it and open the door. Now go south until you come to a breakable wall, break it and go back again. Look for a room on the north side again. When you find it hit the switch and go south. Go south until you find a breakable wall. This time

don't go back. Go to the middle right room. Opposite the entrance, you shouldfind a brekable wall. Break it, then proceed north until you find a switch to open the last door.

In very hard on the far left side there is an Agumon. A bit north of the Agumon there is a small space in the wall with a breakable wall. Destroy it.

IMPORTANT: After the wall, you can go south or north. If you go south you will find a switch. I warn you, don't step on the switch unless you want to trade with BK WarGreymon and exit the trader hall. The switch opens the door to a room with BK WarGreymon and a exit portal, but it closes the door behind you, so you can't get back.

There are many Digimon in the trader hall. Because there are same Digimon inTrader Hall I will number them:

Agumon #1 - the Agumon in the main roomAgumon #2 - the Agumon in the upper right room

Guilmon #1 - the Guilmon in the main roomGuilmon #2 - the Guilmon in the upper left room

Dorumon - the Dorumon in the lower left roomVeemon - the Veemon in the lower right room

BK WarGreymon - he is in the hidden room for very hard mode

There are some other Digimon and two Digi-Elves but you can't trade with them.

========================= 6.6 Digi-Elf trades =========================

If you get a good Item in the Trader Hall the Digi-Elf will exchange it for a better version of that Item.

You can trade any Item you got on the fifth trade in the Trader Hall with theDigi-Elf. You will always receive that same Item, but green colored and withtwo modes.

Example: You got an Omega Raptor alpha in the Trader Hall. When you bring itto the Digi-Elf she will exchange it for a green Omega Raptor alpha withtwo modes. Let's say you've got an Infinity alpha in the Trader Hall. The Digi-Elf will give you a green Infinity with two modes...

NOTE: You can trade an Item with the Digi-Elf only once, so choose wisely.

----------------- A) About this FAQ ----------------- This FAQ is on one of the sidequest in Digimon World 4 and the FAQ I'm doing is currently based on Normal Mode. I will keep updating if I find out new things and I hope everyone can help me by providing information that are not listed here.

-------------------------------------------------- B) How to activate this sidequest ( requirements ) -------------------------------------------------- 1) Rescue all the Digi-Elves at Numenume River( 10 in total ).

2) In Normal mode, you must trade 9 Key Chains with Princemamemon for at least 5 times.

3) Next, go find the digi-elf who activates this sidequest. He is at the area which is opposite of the Card Keeper. Continue to walk up until you see 2 Digi-Elves standing close to each other ( Not the first 2 ).

4) Talk to him and he will mentioned something about you trading Key Chains with Princemamemon for many times and he will give you a Strange Figurine.

5) Go to the portal that links you to the outside world.

This is very easy. After you reach the Battle Arena ( Machine Pit ), go left and you will see a pink-green platform that comes out from the ground. Jump onto it and on your left you can see a wall which is unusual. Walk into it and you will reach Item Trader Hall

------------------ I) Important notes ------------------ Please do not have any items in your folder, Armor Slot and Sub Slot when taking this sidequest because it may cause you not to get some items in the Item Trader Hall. For example: If you have a Atlas Board alpha in your Sub Slot or Folder, you cannot get Grand Blade alpha from the Agumon at the top right corner ( refer to Section D part 4b ). Instead, that Agumon will ask you to trade your Atlas Board alpha with him.

So, please take note of this as it happens to me as well. You can put your items in the bank first before taking this sidequest.

Finally, here is a way to take this sidequest over and over again. After getting the item you want, go back to the main lobby and DO NOT go back to the Digi-elf to say that you have complete the sidequest. Instead, go and save and DO NOT choose to return to the lobby. Choose to end the game. After that, you will be brought back to the Title Screen. Load back your game talk to the Digi-elf that activates this sidequest. You can take the sidequest over and over again if you use this method.

One more thing, there are weapons like Battle Hawk alpha and Long Sword alpha that can obtained in the item trade hall but I decided not to post it because by the time you can do this sidequest, you would have gotten these simple weapons lots of times.

There's this discovery made by a guy called Dregen. He found out that Rage Hammer and Dbl Axe are actually not Bash but Blunt tech weapons. SO everyone please take note. Thanks Dregen !!
