Lana Del Rey - Born To DieThe digipak consists of a CD and a booklet containing the lyrics to the songs.

The font used is quite bold and eye catching as well as the contrasting colours used. For example, on the front cover (‘Lana Del Rey’), the writing is in white with a blue background. However on the back, the writing is in blue with a white background.

The shot of her is a mid shot which takes up most of the front cover with the writing being positioned at the top and the bottom of the shot, the artists name being bigger than the album title. Because she is centre in the picture, this allows us to focus on her rather than what's in the background. In the booklet, the name of the song titles are in bold, with the lyrics in a smaller font. There is no text on the CD, only parts of a rose that peak out of the outer circle of the edge of the CD.

Ellie Goulding - LightsThis digipak is the same as the Lana Del Rey one as in what it consists off. However, the colours are a lot darker which helps with the contrast. The shot of Ellie Goulding, is a close up of her face and is mainly placed towards the let of the album cover which allows us to see the specs of gold/white. The background is quite a dark colour, which is contrasted with the light colours, the gold and white which surrounds her face.

The font is quite simple, with both the name of the singer and the name of the album being in the same font, however the name of the album being in a smaller font that the name of the artist. The font is in the light gold/white colour, the same colour that surrounds her face.

The colour of the CD and the booklet is the same. Its quite a dark blue with a white colour for the text within the booklet, whereas its Gold on the CD.

Lo-Fang – Blue Film

The font on the whole digipak is quite bold and simple, in a white colour. There isn’t any variation in terms of font or colour so its the same around the whole album.

The colour of the background on the CD and the covers is quite dark which allows there to be a bigger contrast between the writing and the background colour. However not all the writing is in white as on the front cover, the name of the artist (‘Lo-Fang’, in the top right hand corner) is in black. This is only noticeable because of the background being not as dark.

The only picture of the artist is on the front cover and it’s not clear that it is the actual artist. The photograph is a mid shot of the artist facing sideways. Because of the light dot in the middle, the picture fades in with the background. It’s also clear that the colour of the print is the same colour of the artists name.

Sia – 1000 Forms of FearMuch like the last one, most of the digipak is black with white accents.

There is no real picture of the singer but there is her hair which is famously known and used in the video ‘Chandelier.’ This contrasts against the black background and makes it stand out more. The back of the digipak, is also her hair, but spread out across the page with the track list in the top left hand corner. The hair on the main album cover is mainly centred, whereas the hair on the back cover is edged towards the bottom right.

The font is quite small and scribbly making it less noticeable, instead the main focus being the hair. The colour is also the same white as the hair.

On the CD, the writing is, instead of white, black so it contrasts with the white stripe.
