My future career

AcademicA single program in four 12-week blocks, and can be completed in just less than one year. It is often very common for animators to specialize in specific areas, thereby limiting their career options. This program is designed to give students practical skills in most aspects of computer animation. The diversity of our program provides the student with well-rounded skill sets. This gives our graduates an advantage in the job market. Our program is taught with the assumption that each student is computer literate, but has no experience in computer animation. Programs start with the very basics. Students with extensive 3Dskills may find the first two weeks easy, but by the end of the third week, classes become challenging for everyone regardless of their background.

Study Field

The program culminates with a 12-week production exercise that puts you on the crew of a fully animated (or visual effects intensive) film! By using the same software, equipment, and pipeline as major studios you can earn the equivalent of over a year of professional work experience while still in school. This is a critical training experience you will not find at any other school.

Alumni have worked all over the world at companies such as Dreamworks, Sony Imageworks, Digital Domain, Electronic Arts, Café Fx, Activision, Walt Disney Feature Animation, and on projects such as Beowulf, Lost, 24, Avatar, Meet the Robinsons, Battlestar Galactica, The Barnyard, The Guardian, and more!
