Coordinated colors Pay particular attention to the graphs, charts, and text boxes. Consider that attendees will print in black and white or grayscale. Run a test print to make sure your colors work when printed in pure black and white and grayscale.

Your Expository Essay must answer three questions.What Invention has changed your life?How has it made an impact on your life?Why is this invention so important?

Where Do I Start?

Give a brief overview of the presentation. Describe the major focus of the presentation and why it is important.Introduce each of the major topics.To provide a road map for the audience, you can repeat this Overview slide throughout the presentation, highlighting the particular topic you will discuss next.3

1. Remember all the reasons why an invention has had an impact in your life.2. Write about how these inventions have changed your life.3. When writing your first draft, remember to include an introductory paragraph and incorporate the ideas/reasons from the brainstorming activity. 4. Each reason should be a paragraph long and contain supporting details.5. Lastly, be sure to include a strong conclusion.

Keep it brief. Make your text as brief as possible to maintain a larger font size.

Editing your work means you are checking for errors in spelling and grammar.
