There are many different digital fabrication techniques, but the essential characteristic that unifies them is that digital machines can be programmed to make consistent products from data driven designs. At our RhinoFabStudio you will be able to use the latest inventive technologies such as 3D printing, computer controlled CNC milling and routing, and laser cutting to produce three-dimensional work. You will be able to obtain an appreciation of how digital fabrication can be an operator of your creative ideas, developed through generative 3-D modeling to your final fabricated product.

The RhinoFabStudio Digital Fabrication Minor / Internship / ART / ARTC / RhinoFabStudio isintended for designers, architects, artists, engineers, and other professionals of associated fields. The Digital Fabrication Program involves introductory as well as advanced courses in 3-D digital modeling, generative and data-driven modeling, physical computation and interaction, as well as hands on manual fabrication. By completing this program, the participant will earn either a Minor in Digital Fabrication, become a certified ART or ARTC, or have all the requirements to open and operate a RhinoFabStudio.

Each section of the program will include exercises to enable students to develop projects within their own specialty or crossing boundaries between several fields. The highlight is based on the progress of individual strategies to understand, consolidate and manipulate two-and-three-dimensional forms.

Note: If you are a student and want to take our training as your internship for your school, you will need to get an aproval from your school first, and send it to us.

machines, as well as to know all the safety around them.

Group sizes: At our RhinoFabStudio, there is a maximum of 9 students per class.

Data Driven Design: Learning both, Grasshopper and Python for Rhino, form finding and critical thinking will be part of the learning process during this Minor.
