Digital Film Package Check In Guide
Mole Baby Kit
1. Cords should be neatly wound and fixed to the side of the light with the rope loop.
2. Lights should be facing the back of the case.
3. Yolks should be tightened enough to stay in place and should be tipped forwards.
4. Barn doors should be folded up with square shutters folded in first.
5. The chain on the barn door should be wrapped around and hooked into itself.
6. Barn doors should be fixed to the underside of the top of the case, shutter side facing out, chain
on top using the bungees, 1 on each side, and 1 in the middle.
7. Each scrim bag should contain:
a. 1 x half double scrim
b. 1 x half single scrim
c. 1 x full single scrim
d. 2 x full double scrims
e. 1 x gel holder
8. Each gel holder should have 3 fasteners with it.
9. Scrim bags should be fixed to the underside of the top of the case on top of the barn door
underneath the bungees, 1 on each side, and 1 in the middle, label facing out.
10. Scrim bag handles should be tucked behind bags, barn doors should be fixed high enough and
scrim bags should be fixed low enough so that barn door chain is clearly visible.
11. The speed ring should be stored in the top left corner of the case behind the stands.
12. The Chimera bag should contain:
a. 4 poles
b. 1 black piece
i. Folded neatly
c. 2 translucent white pieces
i. Folded neatly
d. The Chimera bag should be stored inside the case right behind the yolks and in front of
the stand
13. The outside and inside of the case should be clean.
14. Any dirt and debris should be wiped off and cleaned out before returning to Digital Checkout.
Below is an example of what a Mole Baby Kit should like on check in:
Arri Light Kit
1. Lights (4) should be placed neatly in the corresponding foam compartment. Please take care and
make sure they are snug and fit properly within the foam.
2. Cords should be neatly wound and placed over the light once it’s securely in its place
3. Yolks should be tightened enough to stay in place and should be tipped forwards.

5. Barn doors should be folded up with square shutters folded in first and placed in the blue bag
holding the scrims.
6. The blue scrim bag should contain:
a. For the 300 Watt Light
i. x full single scrim
ii. 1 x full double scrim
iii. 1 x gel holder
b. For the 650 Watt Light
i. 2 x full single scrims
ii. 2 x full double scrims
iii. 2 x gel holder
c. For the 1000 Watt Light
i. 1 x full single scrim
ii. 1 x full double scrim
iii. 1 x gel holder (silver)
d. The blue scrim bag should be placed neatly on top of the lights once everything else is in
its place
7. The speed ring should be stored in the top left corner of the case behind the stands.

Arrisun kit
1. The head should be placed in the large case facing right.
2. The yolk should be tightened enough to stay in place and tilted towards forwards.
3. Head cable should be secured with provided rope loop.
4. In the case’s side compartment should be (from left to right):
a. 1 scrim bag containing a full double scrim and a full single scrim
b. 1 50’ Head/Ballast cable, neatly wound and bound with included tie and buckle
c. 1 barn door folded appropriately, shutters facing inside of container.
5. Lenses should be inside lens case in the correct order according to label on the inside of the
case.
6. The inside of the case should be clean and free of any debris or trash.
7. The outside of the case should be reasonably clean.
8. Any dirt and debris should be wiped off and cleaned out before returning to Digital
Checkout.
Below is an example of what the inside of the Arrisun Head case should look like on check in:
Sound Kit
Inside the Sterilite container should be:
1. 5 XLR cables
a. Each XLR cable should be coiled properly using the correct method to prevent excessive
cable memory.
b. The coils should be neat and should be within the range of 6.5” – 7.0“
c. Each XLR cable should be bound with the provided Velcro strap.
d. Any dirt or debris attached to the XLR cables should be cleaned off before returning to
Digital Checkout.
e. Below are examples of a properly coiled XLR cable and one that is not acceptable.

5. Extra Marantz battery

1. There should not ever be a reason to take this apart.
2. As long this equipment is clean it will be checked in

1. The tripod plate should be attached to the tripod

1. This kit should contain:

Everything on these should be compressed down and tightened.
b. 2 Diva light 400 units
i. Each should have an egg crate louver.
ii. Each should have 4 functioning KF29 bulbs installed.
1. These should be installed with the labels facing out.
iii. The attached power cables for each light should be neatly coiled and bound
with the provided Velcro.
c. 2 flozier bags containing neatly folded flozier bras.
i. Both of these bags should be inside the main bag that is fixed inside the case.
d. 2 metal arms
i. Each should have a bolt to control tightness.
ii. Each should be stored inside bag fixed inside the case.
e. 2 bulb containers
i. Each should contain 4 functioning KF55 bulbs
Stingers
1. Stingers should be returned neatly coiled and bound with the provided Velcro.
2. Any dirt and debris should be wiped off of the stingers before returning them to digital checkout

1. The bag should contain:
a. 1 roll of gaffer tape
b. 1 roll of permacel tape
c. 1 can of compressed air
