Why?
Disconnect between learning in the “Real World” and learning in College.We really DO need to teach students to learn how to learn.We need to teach students to do something USEFUL with technology.
Two models.
Math for Elementary Teachers(aka MathET)
Students work on learning projects where they teach, reflect, and organize what they are learning.
First model:
Unit 1: Problem Solving and Deductive Reasoning
