Hi teachers! I’m your learning partner, Becky.

Today, I’ll show you some myPerspectives Texas digital resources that will take your instruction to a whole new level!

I’ll help you navigate the program, share some customizable features, and talk about some cool ways to engage your students.

Where Do I Start?

Start by logging in to your account on PearsonRealize.com.

If you don’t have log-in credentials, watch a quick step-by-step Pearson Realize tutorial on MyPearsonTraining.com for instructions.

Once you’re in and at the home page, you can access program resources as well as classroom management and data-tracking tools.

Your students will see similar menus where they can access program resources, view their assignments, and check their grades.



How Do I Navigate?

To get to the myPerspectives Texas digital tools, select your grade level.

You’ll see the Table of Contents, which includes the Teacher’s Edition, Units, digital lessons, assessments, and many other resources.

Notice Teacher Resources on the right to access even more helpful materials. Here, you’ll find tools like your Teacher’s Edition PDFs and a plagiarism checker. You can download these resources as needed to help with your lesson planning.

Now let’s check out some of the cool digital tools.



Take a Peek

There are many tools listed in Pearson Realize, and you may be wondering which tab to look at first.

I recommend starting with the Getting Started with myPerspectives tab in your Table of Contents.

Your Teacher’s Edition

Now that you know how to get around, let’s focus on what you’ll need to take your instruction from good to great.

You can access 3 different formats of the Teacher’s Edition to fit your teaching style and needs.

The first is the Digital Teacher’s Edition with resources at point of use. You access it by going to eText in the main Table of Contents, or by going to the unit or lesson level and clicking the Teacher Resources drop-down option on the side.

The second is the Teacher’s Edition PDFs that are downloadable. You can access the PDFs from the main Table of Contents, under the Teacher Resources drop-down option on the side.

Or you can access the FlipBook Teacher’s Edition, which is under the Tools option in the main Table of Contents on the top navigation bar.

Using the interactive features of your Digital Teacher’s Edition will help increase students’ knowledge and engagement, as well as make life easier for you.

Navigate quickly using the Table of Contents on the left side of the screen. Find handy tools across the top like the highlighter, note tool, and bookmark.

Adjust your view from one page to two pages, and switch to whiteboard view in case you need to display your screen.

Click the digital icons in the Teacher’s Edition to gain access directly to the tool on Pearson Realize.



Teaching a Lesson

You might be wondering how you’ll use Pearson Realize while teaching. So, let’s get to the lessons!

Select a unit tab to see the unit-level materials. You can access all of the lesson parts here, as well as the selections for that unit, and the Performance-Based Assessment. Everything is in order from the beginning of the unit to the end!

You’ll want to take a closer look at the engaging tools such as videos, selections, and reflection activities included in each unit tab.



Make It Your Own

One of the features I really like about myPerspectives Texas is the flexibility that’s built into the program. It allows me to customize the content based on my needs.
