Polaris TVT series digital transmitters are designed to comply with DVB-T (EN 300 744), DVB-H (EN 302 304) and DVB-T2 (EN 302 755) stand-ards. Their key features are:

Features Device
It allows to obtain information concerning the current equip-ment operational status at any moment. In case of critical events' occurrence the message about it appears at the supervision point immediately.
Event messages are saved in a database during all the time of opera-tion.
The most significant parameters of the equipment are registered continuously.
The system allows to control transmitters distantly: to change the modes of an operation, to switch it on/off.
There is an ability to connect an additional equipment, fire-security alarm systems, electricity meter and temperature sensor to the remote control system.
Each transmitting center is equipped by remote control block SDK-5 which is directly connected to the transmitting center equip-ment. This block represents an industrial computer. Its software in-cludes applications of data gathering from connected devices, a WEB-server, an SNMP agent. Through the Ethernet interface remote con-trol block is connected to computer network TCP/IP which in turn connects computers of system users and the central server. By means of an ordinary WEB browser system users are able to establish connec-tion to the remote control block and retrieve information about the current device status condition at the transmitting center, to control devices' operation. Also data retrieving and control through SNMP re-port are available

Main page of the central server
The central server is used for a constant equipment operation monitoring and its data archiv-ing. Remote control block con-tinuously requests operation status data from equipment at each transmitting center and in case of fault dispatches an alarm message to the central server. Besides, data concerning the most important equipment pa-rameters is transferred to the central server in stated time peri-ods. The information received by the central server is stored in a database. The information ac-cess is carried out by means of the WEB interface.

Device’s page
From the page with the equip-ment list at the transmitting cen-ter the user can pass to the page of a certain device. This page contains information about the device chosen, the list of mes-sages regarding the latest events occurred. There is the table with the current values of the most important device parameters. After passing over to the page by the link it is possible to look through the history of certain pa-rameter values for all period of the device monitoring. There is also a hyperlink to the built in WEB server of the device. By loading the page from the built in WEB server the user can re-ceive complete information con-cerning all parameters of the de-vice till the current moment and if the user got an appropriate ac-cess rights, he is able to change the device settings.

Openness Scaling Remote control system uses only open standard protocols and in-
terfaces (HTTP, SNMP, Ethernet). Central server software is supplied with source code. To get the data from remote control blocks SNMP protocol is used.
The increase of devices and transmitting centers number does not results in essential difficulties. The procedure of a new device connec-tion consists of its registration in a remote control block and in the central server. The quantity of devices which are monitored by the central server is limited by the power of a computer used as a central server and can reach several thousands devices
Reliability Safety All components of the remote control block (a computer, a
commutator, a power supply unit and a data gathering unit) have in-dustrial fulfillment and they are designed for operation in a range of temperatures from 0 to 60 C. The built in computer is equipped by Watch Dog timer. In a case of program's lag there is a computer au-tomatic reboot.
In the remote control block the possibility of settings change is protected by the password. For the information access at the central serv-er it is necessary to enter a login and the password. In case of data trans-fer by means of a public network or the Internet connection a private virtual network (VPN) can be established.
Easy to use Universality Any user of a system has enough skills to operate with the
WEB browser. Remote control blocks and central server configura-tion is carried out through the user-friendly WEB interface, software update can be accomplished distantly.
Remote control system is constructed on the basis of the stand-ard components used in computer networks construction (Ethernet switches, routers). Principles of data exchange networks organization are regular for computer networks. TCP/IP is used as a transport proto-col. Data transfer can be carried out via Ethernet network, fiber optic communication line, satellite channel, GPRS.

SDK-5.3 unit is designed for remote monitoring of transmitting devices pa-rameters. This unit has event log em-bedded thus enabling not only to moni-tor connected devices status condi-tions, but also to create an events histo-ry. SDK-5.3 module have the following features:

Thermostatted precise generator be-ing synchronized with PLL system reference signal pro-vides a high accuracy and low phase noise level. SFN nonregenerative repeater is designed for DVB - T/H network coverage extending and for weak signals amplification.
