Printing InstructionsWhen printing this pattern it is important to print it full size. When you bring up the print dialog

box look in the “Page Sizing & Handling” section. Make sure the “Actual Size” is selected

before you hit print.

You also only need to print the page/s you need. After the print dialog opens look for the

“Pages to Print” section. You can print the current page or a range of pages. This will help

save ink by not printing the title/instruction pages.

When you hand cut finger joints you want to get a good fit.The fit does not have to be machine perfect but we don’t want

it to look sloppy.

When you cut the opening cut just on the outside of theline trying to remove the line.

We do not want to turn the corner. We won’t get a goodsquare cut if we do. Make both cuts on the side of the opening

then notch out a section.

Bring the blade into the corner and continue the cut acrossthe bottom to get perfectly square corners.

Cut all the openings for the finger joint.

We are now ready to cut the fingers. For this cut youwant to try to split the pattern line. This should give

you a good fit. Do not turn the corners. Back out of thecuts at the end of each line.

With accurate cutting you can get good fitting finger joints.

You want the fingers to be just a little long. You can easilysand the fingers flush. If the fingers are short you will have

much more sanding to do.
