Preface

Digital instrument widely used in digital cartography, clothing CAD, embroider

pattern making, aviation / car seat cushion, furniture cushions and GIS industry,

is an external device that can be digitized and transmitted to the computer by

the position of the point in the plane. Han-bond digital instrument based on

the principle of electromagnetic induction, which is mainly composed of a

metal conductor of the grid array, mining point device (cursor), control and

processing circuit three parts. The cursor can be in grid plate above the surface

to move freely and emit electromagnetic waves, through the grid board

receives the signal,then the processing of the phase and amplitude of the

received signal can get the coordinate value of the cursor cross wire on the

number plate. And the specific data format through the RS232 serial

transmission to the computer for processing.

Chapter 1 Introduction

Characteristic of digital instrument

Chapter 3 connection

3.1 data line connection

This product adopts “ serial port line” transfer data.

If the computer without COM interface, can use “USB to serial port line "switching using

(Note: the" USB to serial port line "is non standard).

3.2 power line connection

Digitizer needs to provide AC power 220V/50Hz (in some areas the use of AC 110V/60Hz),

the voltage fluctuation can not exceed 10%.

Make sure the power supply has a good grounding.

For your safety and product stability, please use the original power cord through professional

demonstration and strict testing, without our permission, the use of other power lines is

prohibited!

Special note: The standard configuration of power line of this products is Chinese Standard

interface. In view of interface differences in some areas, such as Europe and the United

States,can also be equipped with the power cord of the European standard interface, but need

to contact my company in advance!

3.3 software connection

Replication CD inside files to your computer disk (recommended in the D disks and prevent

accidental deletion), open the folder "digitizer setup software (simplified 3.2)";

Run the file "digital setup software (3.2)" ~ this software is not installed.

Kindly reminder: below V3.2 version, please contact the company customer service or

download above V3.2 Version (including V3.2 version).

Run the file, if you encounter a computer antivirus software to intercept it, please add this

software as trust one!

Select good digital instrument and computer communication port

Select the garment CAD software to be applied;

Then click "OK". At this time the digital instrument will feedback, "Di, Di" two sounds,

meanwhile the settings of the assistant set the status of the state will prompt the success of

the information set;

Connect successfully!

Note: when using this software, please close the CAD software or other software that can run

COM port so as not to be occupied by the COM port, which led to the setting can not be

successful!

Special note: after the first time installation is complete, some software need to restart the

computer then can be normal reading, such as Gerber software, and Eagle software etc.)

Note: after the success of the setting, the parameters will be automatically saved, the next

time the use of the clothing software, no need to set.

Chapter 4 Fault analysis

4.1 power problems

According to the following steps to exclude in turn (check the power supply,

please first cut off the power supply, to prevent electric shock):

heck whether the power supply has a AC 220V output (in some areas as AC 110V);

open the power supply box, check whether the connector of the transformer connection is

firm, you can hand pull the cable to see if you can pull it out;

Need to replace the transformer if the transformer burn out

4.2 reset problem

Check the main board indicator light is normal on;

Reset button is broken,replace the reset button.

4.3 cursor problem

First, make sure that the cursor is placed within the active area of the drawing board.

Standby mode, green light of the cursor is on normally

Cursor red light is not bright in all areas, first check the power box connected to the

motherboard with a panel of gray cable whether plugged in, if the connection is normal

that means the the main board burn out ;

When the cursor red light is not bright in some areas, please check gray cable which

connect with the power box inside and panel is connected properly or not, first from the

drawing board most left side to slow move the cursor to the right edge of the drawing

board, testing red lamp is on or off status, and then from the bottom of the drawing board

to move the cursor slowly to the top of the drawing board, test the red light is on or off

situation, If only one row indicator light is not bright may the line of a channel

connection is bad, if the part of drawing board does not shine may be magnification

times is not enough, need to counter clockwise rotation DW1 on the main board to be on

proper position.

4.4 key issues

Check the cursor to connect the main board is solid or not, is strongly recommended to

use the fixed seat fixed it well, preventing poor contact socket;

Confirm whether the use of clothing software is compatible with the digital format (for

details please call Advisory);

Change cursor;

Main board upgrade (part of the problem can be remotely upgraded).

4.5 dimension scaling problem

Confirm measuring tools and methods would ensure the error range;

Take a A4 paper to test, and then determine the actual test data is how much? (Note: the

A4 paper size: 210mm * 297mm), if test A4 paper ‘s length, width deviation is greater

than 2mm, may be cable poor contact, or the precision problem of the copper wire, at this

time need to check the power box connected the motherboard with a panel of gray cable

connection is normal;

Respectively to test on the left of the drawing board, lower left region, right upper region,

the lower right region, middle region, to see how much error. This can be excluded if

there is a problem with the accuracy of the panel;

Reading - deformation in accordance with the following steps to exclude in turn:

1 read a graphic (Note: graphics should have arc), whether there exists obvious distortion

phenomenon by eye-measurement;

2 The method must be correct, ensure the quantity and coordinate of take points are suitable

when read the pattern

3 main board procedures and software compatible unusual, the main board to be upgraded

(part of the situation can be remote upgrade).

4.6 software connection problem

Check whether the power supply is normal start-up;

Check the data line (serial line) is connected properly with the digital instrument and the

computer, the serial line often plug will cause poor contact;

Make sure the serial port setting item is chose right inside of the 'software settings

assistant' , usually COM1, but also some computers will have multiple COM interface

options, then according to the actual situation to choose.

Make sure that when the software settings assistant is connected to the digital instrument,

the computer is not running other programs to use the serial port, usually some programs

or clothing system at boot time will automatically run, at this time should be to close it.

Restart the computer and digital instrument;

Chapter 5 transportation and storage

5.1 transportation

Transportation: must put down gently when transportation and installing, avoid bump, fall,

keep a complete packing box.

5.2 keep in storage

Storage: storage sites should rain-proof, damp-proof, ambient temperature from - 10 to

45 ℃ , < 75% relative humidity, air should not containing corrosive substances, good

ventilation, and pay attention to fire.
