History

Dimoldura was created in 1984, in a small workshop inGranollers, near Barcelona. For a decade, the companygrew through hard work and a strong commitment toquality and customer service. New partners made itpossible to open doors to new markets while ensuringbalanced growth in what was still a small company.

In 1996, Dimoldura made the leap to industrialproduction. As the company grew, the product andcustomer service ranges were expanded and the firstinternational operations began. In 2008, RubénFernández took over the management of the companyfrom the founder and started a process of organic andinorganic growth that completely transformedDimoldura.

From 2014, Dimoldura grew steadily to become anational reference in the manufacture of interior doorsand technical doors.

Today, it can make more than 800,000 doors per year infour strategically-located production plants in the

Iberian Peninsula, serving a growing number ofdistributors in Spain and Portugal. In addition, wecontinue to break down barriers and achieve newmilestones based on a strong internationalisationprocess that has led us to become a key partner ofmajor European industry players.

Felipe Fernández sets upDimoldura in a smallworkshop in Granollers,near Barcelona.

1996

Start of industrialproduction.

2005

Dimoldura partners withlarge internationaldistribution firms.

Protect+ doors are available in several lacquered andlaminate door models. They prevent 99.9% of bacteriafrom growing on surfaces, including MRSA super bugand E-Coli. IonGuard surface treatment technologyprevents the proliferation of bacteria on Protect+lacquered doors providing effective, long-lastingantibacterial protection.

Its special coating releases silver ions that inhibitsbacterial growth, thereby preventing germs from

multiplying and reducing their presence by up to

99.9%. When bacteria come into contact with an

IonGuard-treated surface, silver ions prevent them

from further developing and they die.

Protect+ doors are backed by international scientific

standards and certifications. They also maintain their

beauty and technical features, making them perfect

for interior spaces.

ArmouredEnsuring the highest level of security in the home isone of the main concerns when choosing a front door.

The new line of Dimoldura front doors has its greatestexponent in the armoured doors. If you are looking forease-of-mind and security when planning the accessto your home or to any room requiring specialprotection armoured doors are your best ally. Innerelectroplated steel structure ensures extremeprotection against any attack.

Dimoldura armoured doors undergo the stricteststrength and manual break-in controls, assuring classIII compliance with static charge (UNE ENV 1628),dynamic charge (UNE ENV 1629 EN) and manualbreak-in (UNE ENV 1630) standards. In addition, foradded security, the structure includes a 3-point lockingmechanism with 8 bolts and 6 crowbar-resistant boltson the hinge side.

ReinforcedDimoldura reinforced doors offer a higher level ofsecurity than normal front doors.

Their structure, reinforced with an inner iron plate,significantly increases security and makes unwantedaccess more difficult. They have earned the trust of

FRDoorsDimoldura offers multiple options in FR (FireResistant) doors and fire doors, to meet regulationsand building code specifications. They are installedto prevent the spread of a fire.

We have several types depending on requiredresistance. EI30 and EI60 FR doors can becombined with acoustic properties as required.All approvals and certifications are carried out byENAC-accredited laboratories.

They are intended for use in public and privatepremises according to regulations.

Acoustic DoorsDimoldura covers soundproofing needs in roomsand other spaces with its specific acoustic doorsthat provide sound protection where required byregulations or functions.

We have different types of doors depending on theirlevel of soundproofing (from 22 dBA to 41 dBA),which can be combined with EI30 and EI60 fireresistance.

We also have approvals and certifications carriedout by ENAC-accredited laboratories.

X-Ray DoorsWe manufacture special shielded doors to protectagainst radiation from X-Ray equipment. The doorsfeature UNE-EN 12588:2008 compliant leadsheeting to prevent the propagation of radiation inaccordance with required safety standards andregulations.

There is no standard range of X-Ray doors as theparticular specifications of each project need to betaken into account and the doors may have between2mm to 6mm Pb as radiological insulation.
