Finish ProcessFlexsteel is committed to quality, that’s why inspection follows each of the 12 steps in our five-hour finish process.

This ensures not only the best possible finish for your furniture – but also longevity, delivering on the durability needed for today’s commercial environments.

All surfaces are hand-sanded with 220 grit sponge pads prior to glaze application. Giving added depth to the finish color.

At Flexsteel, all our finishes are solvent free, water based and coated with our rugged FlexGuard II antimicrobial topcoat. Flexsteel delivers an industry-leading 2.0 mil. of protection, compared to the required 1.6 mil. of other companies.
