– Evolution• Migration, Mutation, Genetic Drift, Natural

Selection

Beans, it’s what’s for dinner.

• Necessary Items– Food

• 3 bags of beans (northern or lima)

– Mouth parts • 10 spoons• 10 tweezers• 10 binder clips/clothes pins• 10 paper clips/dissecting needles

– Other• 10 Trays• Cups

Salad fork, soup spoon.

• Handout/Worksheet - predictions, results

• Mouth parts.

• Share trays.

• Stopwatch.

• 20 bean minimum.

Have you any room for dessert?

• Discuss real life applications.– Birds examples?
