July 11-12 -- 15th Sunday in Ordinary Time This Sunday we hear the familiar story of the sower and the seed. In the end this parable is about abundance, God makes the seed bear fruit many times over. Mother Teresa once said, “If you cannot feed 100 people, feed just one.” If we are fruitful recipients of the Word of God, how much will God multiply that good in the world? How does God’s word move us to share abundantly through a simple gesture of offering a package of crackers to the homeless or bringing food to a lo-cal pantry? Julio 11-12 -- 15to Domingo del Tiempo Ordinario Este domingo escuchamos la historia familiar del sembrador y la semilla. Al final, esta parábola es sobre abundancia, Dios hace que la semilla dé fruto muchas veces. La Madre Teresa dijo una vez “si no puedes alimentar a 100 personas, alimenta solo a una”. MASS SCHEDULE AND TEMPORARY PROTOCOLS FOR ST. JOSEPH
At St. Joseph’s our temporary capacity of 50% is limited to 100 people in the congregation per Mass.
Mass Schedule for weekend of July 11 and 12:
• Saturday, July 11 at 5PM English
• Saturday, July 11 at 7PM Spanish
• Sunday, July 12 at 9AM English (live streamed)
• Sunday, July 12 at 11:15AM Spanish (live streamed)
Daily Mass will take place in the main church. The daily Mass schedule will be:
• Monday – Thursday at 8AM English
• Thursday at 6PM Spanish followed by Eucharistic Adoration
• Friday at 12:15PM English
The following temporary protocols will be utilized:
• Everyone is strongly encouraged to wear a face mask / covering during the liturgy
• Everyone entering the sanctuary will receive hand sanitizer by the ushers
• Six foot of distance between each other at all times except between members of the same family or household
• Ushers will be issuing directions for entering and exiting the church and guide congregants as they receive
Communion.
• Sunday offerings should be placed in the Donation Box in the narthex before entering the church (collection baskets
will NOT be passed during Masses). Online donations are accepted as well. Please go to our website:

The Bishop is advising and encouraging the following parishioners to not attend Mass and to remain at home:
1. those who are sick
2. those who are 65 years or older
3. those who have been advised by health care workers or caregivers
4. those who sincerely believe that attending Mass will jeopardize their health or the health of a person whom they
reside
5. those who sincerely believe that because of the limitations imposed by the temporary protocols attending Mass is
not reasonable
Understanding all of the above, we still believe in your prudent and right judgment as to whether or not to attend
Mass. If you fall in one of the above categories, please consider attending a weekday Mass. Some of our fellow
parishioners are not able to attend weekday Masses, so we are encouraging as many of you as possible to come
celebrate the Mass during the week.
We do not want to turn away any of our parishioners, but once we reach 50% capacity (100 people) the church doors
will be closed. As a St. Joseph community, we want to remain united in Christ through the celebration of the Mass –
whether that means inside or outside (live streaming) of the Church.
Reconciliation is available on Saturday at 4PM in the Holy Family Chapel or by appointment.

EIM update EIM WORKSHOP (during pandemic)
EIM Policies require all clergy, religious, seminarians, employees and adult volunteers serving in a ministry requiring EIM compliance to submit an EIM Application for Ministry (one-time only) and attend an EIM Workshop at least once every three years. No new EIM Applications are being accepted/submitted during this time of COVID-19 and all in-person EIM Workshops have been postponed. However, the EIM Office has created a Temporary Online EIM Training to fulfill the compliance requirement for those who already have an EIM account and are due or past due to attend an EIM Workshop.
