Catechists needed for 2019-2020 School Year!! A Catechist is responsible for preparing a lesson plan and teaching a Religious Education class on the days classes are in session. If this is something of interest to you, prayerfully consider volunteering for the following open positions: Children’s Liturgy (during the 8:30am and 11:00am Masses), Preschool Assistant, Kindergarten, 3rd and 4th. Please contact Marie Burge if you are interested or would like more information at mburge.olol@gmail.com New Practice Schedules for Choirs: Choirs will be rehearsing on Tuesday evenings this Fall. The first night of rehearsals will be Tuesday, August 27. Youth Choir practices from 6 - 6:45pm and the Adult Choir follows from 7 - 8:30pm.

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament

The church is open for Eucharistic Adoration on Thursday evenings from 7 - 8 pm for you to spend time in the peace of His Presence.

2019 ANNUAL DIOCESAN APPEAL

We have received $86,475 in 199 pledges towards our goal of $89,505 (a difference of $3,030).

A big “thank you” goes out to all of the OLOL parishioners who supported the lunch program at Candlewood Estates mobile home park. During the week of June 17th -

21st, over 400 meals were served. This was made possible by the generous support of our parish. The meals, cash donations, and volunteers who served the food made this week a huge success. Thanks again!

Holy Hour for Vocations, St. Patrick, Urbana All are invited to join in prayer on the first Saturday of the month at 8:30am at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Urbana for an increase in vocations to the priesthood and religious life in our diocese. This System is a medically standardized system that networks family planning with reproductive health. It can be used by married couples to achieve, avoid, or space pregnancies, or by any woman to monitor her health. It offers a fertility-care rather than a fertility-control based approach to medical evaluation and treatment and offers new hope to couples struggling with infertility.
