• Thesis Topic: Dr.Hadoop: Giving Wings To The Baby Elephant!!

My master thesis is abous providing Infinite Scalability to Hadoop Framework.We present a circular metadata management mechanism named Dynamic CircularMetadata Splitting (DCMS). DCMS preserves metadata locality using consistenthashing as well as locality-preserving hashing, keeps replicated metadata forexcellent reliability, as well as dynamically distribute metadata among NameNodesto keep load balancing. NameNode is the centralized place of Hadoop whichkeeps the directory tree of all files and thus failure of which causes Single Pointof Failure (SPOF).DCMS removes Hadoops SPOF as well as provides an efficientand scalable metadata management. The new framework is named as Dr.Hadoopon the name of the authors.To deal with small files, we built Hadoop ARchive Plus (HAR +) and put in onthe top of Dr.Hadoop which is an updated version the Hadoop ARchive.

Its a software interface which will recognize the word spoken by the user using themicrophone and the corresponding meaning will be delivered by the computerthrough the speaker.It represents the procedure and logic for implementation ofa software application that uses the technology for recognition of Speech to Textand Text to Speech synthesis.

Technology Used: Sphinx4, FreeTTS, JSAPIPlatform: Eclipse.
