Lift the bottom corner of the firstlayer upwards while reversefolding the diagonal sides alongthe crease lines made in Step 6.

Turn model over

Fold down the triangular piece in the middle, crease firmly, andunfold.

Separate the two diagonal edges onthe right and squash fold ...

... then swivel the first flap on the left to the right, and repeat Step 10 on the second flap on the left.

... then push in the centre where the diagonal creases intersect and collapse the paper again along the existing mountain and valley fold lines.

Your model should now looklike this. Turn model over.

Open out from the centreand fold the first two layersto each side.

Fold and unfold,creasing firmly.

Unfold model completely. Recrease the indicated valley fold lines asmountain folds. This will make Step 20 easier.

Separate and draw the diagonal edge of the firstlayer of the flaps on each side towards the centre,then fold the corners at the sides to meet the topcorner of each triangle.

Fold as shown, crease firmly, andunfold.

Petal fold, tucking the excesspaper under the lowest cornerof the triangular pieces above.

Fold the excess cornersinwards, in line with thediagonal edge at the bottom.

Fold the tip of the triangle tothe intersecting crease linesas shown ..

... then fold this piece all the down from the horizontal mid-point of the model.

Fold the upper diagonal edgesto the centre, crease firmly, andunfold, then rotate the paperclock wise through 90 degrees.

Fold and unfold on the left, as inStep 31.

Now bring the four diagonal edges to thecentre as illustrated, Note the crimps in thecentre.

Fold the model horizontally inhalf

The four vertical pieces will form the legs.Fold down the two on this side and repeat atthe back.

Reverse fold on the right and left.

The point on the left will form the headand neck. Reverse fold slightly below thetip, then reverse fold again at the base ofthe tail piece on the right.

Mountain fold the both sides ofthe neck within itself, then valleyfold both sides of the tail piece asillustrated.
