OverviewThis user guide gives you step-by-step instructions for enrolling your new or renewing subsidy-eligible customers into plans on the ibx4you retail platform. Previously, subsidy-eligible customers had to be enrolled exclusively via the Health Insurance Marketplace — only customers who were not subsidy-eligible could be enrolled through the ibx4you retail platform. Now, through the direct enrollment functionality on the ibx4you retail platform, you have a one-stop shop for enrolling all of your individual customers.

Direct enrollment through the ibx4you retail platform allows you to:

• Enroll all of your new or renewing customers through ibx4you, both subsidy and non-subsidy eligible

• Enroll your customers more quickly and easily, with an easy-to-use and streamlined interface

• Get access to all of our plan information on one site, including the plan comparisons, benefits charts, rates, and provider finders, in addition to information on specialty services and value-added wellness programs

A quick note: Direct enrollment allows you to enroll and renew subsidy-eligible customers through the ibx4you retail platform. However, if you need to make demographic changes or cancel a customer’s plan that includes a subsidy, you will need to do so on www.healthcare.gov.

How to use Direct EnrollmentLog into ROAM to access your ibx4you retail platform dashboard. Hover over the Activities tab and click New Quote.

On the Case Information page, enter the required information and click Save.

Click Apply For My Subsidy.

Click Continue to the Marketplace.

You will be directed to login to the Marketplace using your (agent) FFM User ID and password. If you do not have an account, select the Don’t have an account? option. If you do not remember your username or password, select either Forgot your username or Forgot your password.

Once you access your account you will have an option to start a new application or look up an existing application. For new members who do not have an existing Marketplace application, select the option to create a new application. For members that have an existing application with the Marketplace, you will be able to search for their application by using first name, last name, coverage year, and date of birth.

Answer the required question about your customer’s tobacco use. Click Save & Continue.

From this point, you will continue to www.healthcare.gov where you will be asked to provide income, household, and demographic information to determine yours customer’s subsidy amount. If you run into issues on www.healthcare.gov, please reach out directly to the Federally Facilitated Marketplace at 1-800-318-2596 for assistance.

After you have applied for your customer’s subsidy or cost-sharing discount, you will be prompted to return to the ibx4you retail platform to shop with the subsidy and complete the enrollment.

Upon returning to the ibx4you retail platform, you will see the Account Overview page. On this page, your customer’s eligibility results will be displayed. Click the Shop button.

Select either the Guide Me button or Browse button depending on which shopping process you wish to pursue. The Guide Me path will ask a simple set of questions to help determine the plan that best meets your customer’s needs. The Browse path will direct you to the plans and you will be able to sort and filter the options by various plan features.

You will now see plan options along with your customer’s subsidy applied to the cost. Select the plan your customer wants to purchase and click the Add to Cart button beneath it.

If you’re done shopping, click View Cart & Enroll.

Confirm all information is correct, and click Enroll Now.

If applicable, enter the required Tobacco Use date and click Continue.

Fill out the payment information and the amount of the tax credit your customer wants to use. Click Next.

Complete the Premium Tax Credit Attestation, acknowledge the Declarations and Conditions of Enrollment, and sign your e-signature. Click the Submit Application button.

Once the application has been submitted, you will see an Application Summary page that confirms the enrollment request you made for your customer. Questions?
