CATALAN YOUTH SURVEY
The Catalan Youth Survey (Enquesta a la joventut de Catalunya, EJC) is an official statistic of the Government of Catalonia that
focuses on living conditions amongst young people and on processes of transition to adult life. The EJC is a project of the
Catalan Youth Observatory, whose objective is to provide relevant, reliable and updated information that can help to guide youth policies. To do so, the Observatory receives support from
the Catalan Institute of Statistics (Idescat) in designing, monitoring and reviewing the statistical operation and from
university research teams for analysing the different thematic areas dealt with in the questionnaire.
