Bangladesh Scouts

I am Pleased to know that Foundation Division of Bangladesh Scouts is going to publish a colourful and informative directory of the Foun-dation members.

Bangladesh Scouts is n non-polotical voluntary educational move-ment working to develop the youth physically, mentally, socially, in-tellectually and spiritually through a value based traning system so that they become responsible citizens. At present Bangladesh Scouts has 1.5 million members and in terms of scout population this num-ber is the 5th highest of World Organization of the Scout Movement. Bangladesh Scouts arranges frequent youth programmes, commu-nity development camps, training courses, workshops and other events all the year round. As a voluntary educational movement, Bangladesh Scouts is not in a position to implement the year-long programme with its limited resources. Therefore, Bangladesh Scouts Foundation helps a lot implement the youth programme by raising its fund.

I would like to express my sincere thanks and gratitude to all con-cerned who brought forth the Directory of Bangladesh Scouts Foun-dation members. I am confident that the objectives of publishing this directory will be effective.
