Disasters are divided into 2 parts, they are natural disasters and man made disasters

Natural DisastersNatural disasters are formed from forces of nature, and cause great devastation.

1) EarthquakesEarthquake is a shaking of the ground caused by the sudden

breaking and movement of large sections (tectonic plates) of the earth's rocky outermost crust

2) Volcanic eruptions An eruption begins when pressure on a magma chamber forces magma

up through the conduit and out the volcano's vents. When the magma chamber has been completely filled, the type of eruption partly depends on the amount of gases and silica in the magma.

3) Tsunami A tsunami is a series of water waves caused by the

displacement of a large volume of a body of water, typically an ocean or a large lake.

Man-made Disasters

Man-made disasters are the consequence of technological or human hazards.1) Nuclear Bomb

The atomic bombings of the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan were conducted by the United States durrepresent the only use of nuclear weapoing the final stages of World War II in 1945. These two events ns in war to date

2) Flood A flood is an overflow of water that submerges land. Floods often

happen over flat or low-lying areas when the ground is saturated and water either cannot run off, or cannot run off quickly enough to stop accumulating. This may be later followed by a river flood as water moves away from the areal floodplain into local rivers and streams.
