• Obligatory elementary school education lasts 9 years

• 2 types: public (free of charge) and private

• During elementary school, it is possible to apply and take an exam for 6 or 8 years grammar secondary school

• If you are a foreigner employed by a company based in Czech Republic, you can use public health insurance.

• For family members not employed by a company based in CZ and residing in Czech Republic, it is necessary to have private insurance.

• EPAM Benefits: 5 paid days per year of sick leave without medical certificate, full pay for the first three days of sick leave

• Income tax (15% of Super Gross Salary)

• Health Insurance Contributions (4.5% of Super Gross Salary)

• Social Security Contributions (6.5% of Super Gross Salary)

• If the annual gross income is more than CZK 1,245,216, employee also pays Solidarity Surcharge Tax (7% of Gross Employment Income per annum)

• Knowledege of Czech language is not obligatory for the enrollment

RELOCATING TO EPAM PRAGUE

Relocation Package is intended for employee and employee’s family members.

• Coverage of expenses related to relocation:

— Fees for Visa, employee card, etc.

— Travel medical insurance

— Translation of documents

• Tickets or compensation for self-organized travel

• Transfer from/to airport/railway station

• Extra luggage

• Accommodation for the first 4 weeks

• Real estate agency fee coverage up to 1,000 USD

RELOCATING TO EPAM PRAGUE

RELOCATION PROCESS

Job offer – Employee accepts EPAM CZ job offer and the vacant position is reported to the Czech labor office.

Visa process – Employee applies and is accepted for employee card and then gets entry visa stamped.

Relocation – Employee confirms arrival logistics, flight tickets, accommodation with EPAM.

Biometric data collection and registration of address of stay – Employee visits the Czech Ministry of the Interior and Czech Foreigner’s Police Office within three working days upon arrival in Czech.

Employee card – Second visit to the Czech Ministry of the Interior. Must vvisit within 30 days to collect employee card.
