Note: You need to insert a valid SIM card before youcan use the different menu features that are describedin the following chapters. If there is no valid SIMwhen you switch on the phone, the phone will go intorestricted idle screen mode, and the use of the phonefeatures will be limited.

In idle mode, tap the Main menu hard icon at the topof the touch screen to enter the main menu. If youhave not inserted a SIM card, you can tap theonscreen soft key to enter the main menu. There are 3 main menu categories in this phone,namely, Basic App, Fun and Tools. When you enter themain menu, you can tap soft key to accessthe menus available under the different categories,and you can also view all the menus available. In the default main menu screen, the menus will bepresented in a 9-grid format. You can tap toswitch to list menu format. Select a menu using
