6We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man's gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith. 7If it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach; 8if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully.

You might be a teacher if…• Love to research and communicate God's Word• Present material systematically• Love for words, proficient vocabulary• Important to you to verify your accuracy• Love to help believers understand better• Believe truth has intrinsic power to produce change • Bugs you if someone uses verse out of context
Weaknesses:• Rely on human reason rather than revelation from God• Once convinced of truth, not easily swayed• Lack practical application• Value fact > feelings

Luke 1:3
With this in mind, since I myself have carefully investigated everything from the beginning, I
too decided to write an orderly account for you, most excellent Theophilus…

BarnabusActs 4, 11
Acts 4:36-37
Joseph, a Levite from Cyprus, whom the apostles called Barnabas (which means “son
of encouragement”), sold a field he owned and brought the money and put it at the apostles’
feet.
Acts 11:22-26
News of this reached the church in Jerusalem, and they sent Barnabas to Antioch. When he arrived and saw
what the grace of God had done, he was glad and encouraged them all to remain true to the Lord with all their hearts. He was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit
and faith, and a great number of people were brought to the Lord. Then Barnabas went to Tarsus to look for Saul, and when he found him, he brought him to Antioch. So for a whole year Barnabas and Saul met with the church and taught great numbers of people. The disciples were
called Christians first at Antioch.
