I also like the fact that they give more information on how to excel beyond their original work to gain more experience and better learn. Example 2 seems to be only about the person's belief they should receive an A without any self reflection on their work or any weaknesses. I believe this example would be in a tie with example 3 for the weakest self reflection. Example 3 is only a little more constructive that example 2, at the very least the student identifies his/hers weaknesses to develop a better paper while building on their skills. Example 4 would be a good reflection simply because the writer is not too overconfident but seems to go back and forth between their ideas and also mentions using portions of this paper for a different paper. While all of the reflections are plausibly written by students, the art of self reflection is a useful skill and these show the different stages someone may go through as an editor. Realizing your own mistakes can only lead to growth and learning as a writer and developing your literary skills will only help you be able to demonstrate your ability to convey your ideas or concepts through writing.

Discussion Board Post 1 -- Reflections Forum

I do think that Example 1 was the strongest self reflection simply because it enhances the aspects the student has learned while also demonstrating their knowledge of their areas they need to work on.
