B.C. DISPATCHReal-time Resource Tracking • DISPATCH provides a real-time tracking capability for appropriately
equipped mobile resources. Each resource, such as aircraft, appears as an icon on the display and has the following information displayed:
• Aircraft tracking information including speed, heading, and altitude, elevation, etc.
• Aircraft specific information such as aircraft registration, make, and type • Tracking status (whether the aircraft is being actively tracked, tracking has
been lost, or aircraft is located at base). Aircraft can stack on bases on the map.
• Aircraft alert and serviceability status (how quickly an aerial firefighting resource can be available)
• All aircraft data is archived and historical replay of resource information can be displayed for any selected date range

Complete radio log with check-ins, safety alarms, all dispatcher notes
Resource transfers between agencies and centres
Display of resource availability and status
Detailed, organizational-wide information about what resources are deployed on what incidents
Complete reporting capabilities (information is archived and can be used in final fire reports)
PRT is the first module of the overall Integrated Fire Management Support Systems, which includes additional modules such as automated fire costing, electronic time sheets, cost analysis and review, integrated plans function, etc.
