What is a ministry team?

A group of believers who together, empowered by the Holy Spirit, displays the Kingdom of God by actions, words and deeds to bring glory to God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Who can be on a ministry team?

Anyone who believes in the message of the Gospel and is willing enough to take a step

of faith to be obedient to the Great Commission

How are ministry teams formed? Through the Holy Spirit By fellowship and togetherness A common goal of love that drives

the group through adjustments and differences

Knowing that each person is important and valuable to their unity and the accomplishment of the task.

What fuels the teams?

The Holy Spirit working through the gifts of God…

1 Corinthians 12:4-74 Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same

Spirit. 5 And there are varieties of ministries, and the same Lord. 6 There are varieties of effects, but the same God who works all things in all persons. 7 But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.

2. You desire to remove others immediately from an emotional or hurtful situation.

3. You have the ability to have empathy with hurting people.

4. You have the tendency to overlook the failures of others in order to relate to them.

5. You try to avoid confrontation whenever possible.

6. You have a tendency to measure acceptance by closeness in relationships.

1. He or she may become hardened toward those who are insensitive to the emotions of others.

2. He or she may become passive to the wrongs of others.

3. He or she may attract wrong relationships with those of the opposite sex.

1. One who has the gift of mercy may want to get someone immediately out of a hurtful situation, while someone having the gift of exhortation is willing to let the person stay there for a while to learn from the situation.

2. One who has the gift of prophecy may want to place God's judgment upon someone, while someone having the gift of mercy wants to demonstrate God's mercy.

3. One who has the gift of service may want to give of his time and energy to serve, while someone having the gift of giving may want to give finances instead.

4. One who has the gift of teaching may want to explain the details of a issue, while someone who has the gift of administration wants to get to the bottom line.

5. One who has the gift of prophecy may claim that his words are from God, while someone who has the the gift of administration may claim that his authority is from God.
