Summary

SymptomLists that have a width with a value that is higher than 255 may betruncated in transaction SP01 and when they are sent or downloaded.

When you display a spool list in transaction SP01 and then process itfurther (for example, you send it to SAPoffice), the list width is alwaysset to 255 irrespective of its previous width.

SolutionPerform the following steps:

1. Apply the relevant kernel patches for your release:

2. Implement Note 1174095.

3. Implement the correction instructions that are contained in this note.

4. Call SPAD and choose Settings -> Spool System -> Other. Select 'SP01:Number of Columns for List Display from Format'. Alternatively, youcan also implement Note 1618845.

After you perform the steps mentioned above, the list is displayed with itsfull width in transaction SP01, even if the spool request was created usinga narrower format.
