Inside our Project Comenius, called " Spare time and sports to unite”, we worked the International Day of the Disability with our pupils to know more about disability concept and kind of leisure and sports activities which break the etiquettes that exist on the handicaps, approaching from the normalization to the daily life of these people.

This experience fulfilled between November 27 and December 3, 2008 together with the Classroom of Special Education of the IES Montalbán's Eloy Vaquero, and the collaboration of the Association of disabled people APROFIS " New Steps " of the same locality and the Andalusian Federation of Adapted Sports.

These activities would be developed parallelly in other centers participants of our project, exchanging the experiences for their better knowledge.

The activities were divided in two groups:

1. INFANTILE LEVEL: where one worked principally the disability from the function of the senses.

2. PRIMARY LEVEL: where we develop more specifically the concept of disability, deficiency and handicap, as well as some examples of sparetime and sport activities.

To complete these activities, the Association APROFIS " New Steps " organized a few activities in Montalbán's locality where it was possible to see an exhibition Of handmade products they usually make and photos of the daily life inside the institution.
