    Distance Learning

Intro Due to Government advice issued on 17th December, we are making plans for learning at

home for the first week in January (4th -8th January), for Years 7 to 10.

Year 11 will be taught in school.

We will teach all year groups online, as we did in the spring/summer lockdown (except for

Year 11). We will use our main platforms, including Teams for live lessons; you and your

children will already be familiar with these. This booklet is intended to provide you with all the

information you may need to log in and get you started.

We ask that students only contact Staff via their School Email and Show My Homework to

    safeguard both students and staff.

Please also remember that whilst engaging with these platforms the expectations of students

are the same as in school and that the Home – School Agreement is upheld.

For any further IT Queries regarding School Emails or Microsoft Teams, please contact Mr

    Dinsey, IT Manager: [email protected]

School Email Address It is very important that all students know their Cranbourne Email Address. This will act as a

key line of communication between students and staff in addition to providing access to

Microsoft Teams where they can participate in scheduled classes.

A teaching staff email address directory can be found at the back of this booklet (P.3)

Student Email Address Info: All Cranbourne students have their own school e-mail address for sending work to and from

home, to contact teachers about work electronically and to contact anyone outside of

    school for work purposes.

All student and staff e-mail addresses follow this theme: [email protected]

The e-mail system is web-based so students can access their accounts online

    at: HTTPS://outlook.office.com

If students need to change their password, or if they forget their login details, they should

speak to Mr Dinsey in the IT department.

The username and password for the school email address are the same login used by

students to log into school computers.

If you have any issues in logging in please contact Mr Dinsey –

    using their school email address.

Students must make sure they know what their Show My Homework Log in and Password is, if

they are unsure of their username and password they need to email Miss Miller for advice:

    [email protected]

If you have not logged into Show My Homework Before, please see Page 20 for help or

    contact Miss Miller.

    Log in here: https://www.satchelone.com/login

Educake Science, Maths, English and Geography work will be found on Educake, see the “Educake
