Charter Celebration!!

A Special Thank you to all those Club members who worked so hard to make sure everything went so well on our Club Charter Celebration Night on March 25th, at Merit Royal Hotel. Our Guests were full of compliments at having been made so welcome, and many new friendships were made.

March 8th marked International Women’s Day, and the ladies

of the Rotary Club of Kyrenia Cosmopolitan were honoured

with an invitation the join President Akinci with First Lady

Meral Akinci at the Presidential Palace for an evening cocktail

celebration.

International Women’s Day

Deputy District Governor, Iacovos Constantinides, has undertaken the

commitment that during his year, 2016-17, the groundwork will be laid

for a Global Grant Application to provide a Children’s Cancer Diagnostic

Unit . This unit will assist in the correct diagnosis and selection of the

least intrusive treatment available to treat children suffering throughout

Cyprus and the region. If you have any contacts with Rotary Clubs or

organisations abroad that may be able to pledge, please let us know.

sion to celebrate, as we took the opportunity

to say an extra special welcome to three new

members.

cleaning up, followed by a

friendly fellowship lunch. It

was a good chance to see the

CMC Golf Course ahead of

the tournament in October.
