DISTRICT COUNCIL OF CEDUNA MINUTES OF THE ORDINARY MEETING OF COUNCIL held at the Council Chamber, 44 O’Loughlin Terrace, Ceduna, on Wednesday 15th July 2015 at 3:04pm.

7c/72015 Moved – LA Brown Seconded – PC Codrington That Council advise the Department of Environment, Water and Natural Resources (Crown Lands) that the purchase price of $100,000 (plus GST), plus survey and LTO fees at Council’s cost as proposed in correspondence of 1 July 2015 is acceptable to Council, and Council wishes to proceed with Ministerial approval and acquisition of the portion of Section 260, Hundred of Bonython as detailed in the correspondence. 1. Accepts Due Diligence Report and Net Present Value Model as presented for the Thevenard Marine Unloading Facility.

2. Authorises the Mayor and Chief Executive Officer to execute appropriate 20 year financing arrangement with the Local Government Financing Authority for up to $1.83 million for the construction of Thevenard Marine Unloading Facility.

Circular 24.5 - The Australia Government has release a discussion paper, Australian Citizenship – Your Right, Your Responsibility for written submission by 30th June 2015.



Circular 24.7 – The LGA recently made a submission on the proposed changes to the Liquor Licensing Act, which would remove the requirement for a licensee to apply to obtain the consent of a licensing authority for certain entertainment provided between the hours of 11am and midnight. A copy of the submission is provided.
