GENERAL INSTRUCTIONSOspray Diuron 500 Flowable Herbicide is a soil active herbicide for pre-emergent and early post-emergent treatment of weeds. It is largely root absorbed and moves upward in the xylem of the plant. For pre-emergent control of weeds, apply to moist bare soil prior to anticipated weed germination when rain is expected within 3 to 4 days, or before irrigation.Use a surfactant only as directed as this will increase uptake of non-target plants. The addition of 0.125% of 100 g/L non-ionic surfactant is recommended as this will improve foliar uptake of the herbicide. This product is absorbed on charcoal and other carboniferous materials and is thereby inactivated.

RESISTANT WEEDS WARNING

GROUP C HERBICIDE

Ospray Diuron 500 Flowable Herbicide is a member of the UREAS group of herbicides. Ospray Diuron 500 has the inhibitors of Photosynthesis at Photosystem II mode of action. For weed resistance management, Ospray Diuron 500 is a Group C herbicide. Some naturally occurring weed biotypes resistant to Ospray Diuron 500 and other Group C herbicides may exist through normal genetic variability in any weed population. The resistant individuals can eventually dominate the weed population if these herbicides are used repeatedly. These resistant weeds will not be controlled by Ospray Diuron 500 or other Group C herbicides. Since the occurrence of resistant weeds is difficult to detect prior to use, Ospray Pty Ltd accepts no liability for any losses that may result from the failure of Ospray Diuron 500 to control resistant weeds.

MIXINGClean spray tank of previous residues, preferably with a chemical residue remover.Half fill the spray tank with clean water, and steadily add Opsray Diuron 500, while agitating the mixture. When tank mixing with Paraquat 200, add Paraquat after Ospray Diuron 500 has been thoroughly mixed with water. If using a surfactant, add the surfactant last. Agitate well before spraying and maintain agitation while spraying. DO NOT pre-mix as a paste. Clean tank thoroughly after use.

COMPATIBILITYThis product is compatible with Paraquat 200 Herbicide (see mixing instructions), MCPA 500 Selective Herbicide, & 2,4-D Amine 500 Selective Herbicide.
