Diversity Calendar 2019-2020
This is a momentous year for CWU Equality as we move towards a new approach and new structures to support our work and keep equality at the centre of everything we do. We congratulate our Regions, Branches and equality activists on the production of this the first CWU Diversity Calendar, which is designed to highlight important dates, themes and celebrations of our wonderfully diverse society and membership. We hope that it will help you plan your equality work and events going forward. Our thanks go to Mark Anthony Bastiani, Jason Reynolds, Jean Sharrocks and Lee Starr-Elliott for their efforts in helping to put this together, alongside the staff in the department. We are so pleased that so many Branches and Regions were interested in supporting this project and are grateful that we received sponsorship for each of our 12 pages. Thank you so much for this! We hope you enjoy displaying and using this calendar in your workplaces and offices to mark your important dates and appointments. The intention will now be to make this an annual initiative so let us know what you found useful and what you would like to see next year! Yours in solidarity,
Trish LavelleAssistant Secretary Equality & Education

Bristol & District Amal has a proud tradition of anti-racism, consistently challenging the far right whether through opposing the delivery of BNP election material, organising against the EDL or Tommy Robinson. The Black & Minority Ethnic Committee at Bristol Mail Centre now takes forward this important work.
