Thefascination,butalsotheneedtounderstandtheurbancontextbetter,grewuntilitwasclearthatIneededtohaveamorein-depthunderstandingofurbanism.So,theEuropeanMastersofUrbanismgavemetheopportunitytoatleastcatchaglimpseofthecomplexityofthisdiscipline.Idiscoveredtheintricaterelationshipsbetweengeographical,politicalandculturallandscapesandhowtheseaffectpeoples’every-daylife.Thisinternationalprogrammeallowedmenotonlytofacediverseandcomplexcontextsbutalsotoworkwithpeoplefromverydifferentbackgrounds,culturesandthusopinions,addinganotherlayertothecom-plexityoftheoverallexperience. Everythinghasleadtoseeingmyprofessionalexperiencesofarasaverydiverseone,diversitythatcomesfromtheattitudetowardstheprofession:amultidisciplinary,multiculturalapproachthatcrossesscalesandculturalboundaries.Consideringthis,myviewonthisprofessionisinfluencedbytheneedtounderstandandtoalwayslearnnewthings.Ihopetobeapartofateamthatdesiresandisabletotackleanyprojectbygraspingeverylayerofitscomplexityandusingthisknowledgetofeedthedesignprocess.
