Minutes of the 22nd Meeting of the Approval Committee (1/2015 series) of DivyaSree Technopark Special Economic Zone held on 18.02.2015

The 22nd meeting (1/2015 series) of the Approval Committee of DivyaSree Technopark Special Economic Zone, at Kundalahalli Village, K.R. Puram, Hobli, Whitefield, Bangalore District, Karnataka State, constituted under Section 13 of Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, was held on 18.02.2015 at 11.30 a.m. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Safeena A.N. I.A.S. in the Conference Room of SEZ Bhavan, Bangalore.

2. The following members were present:

a) Shri Akshay .S .C Assistant DGFT, Bangalore (As nominee Shri V. Sraman, Jt. Director General of Foreign Trade, Bangalore)

3. At the outset the Chairperson welcomed the members of the Approval Committee.

4. The following items in the agenda, circulated in advance, were thereafter taken up for consideration:

A. Confirmation of the minutes of the 21st meeting of the Approval Committee.

The minutes of the 21st meeting of the Approval Committee (7/2014 series) held on 23.12.2014 was confirmed.

C. Consideration of applications:

1. a) M/s. Capgemini Business Services India Private Limited.,

M/s.Capgemini Business Services India Private Limited, requested for an increase in area of 54,210.18 Sq. feet situated on 8th Floor in Building 4, SEZ in Republic of Whitefield (Divyasree Techno park), Bangalore, Karnataka. The NFE on account of this proposed expansion comes to Rs. 53,470 lakh against the existing projection of Rs.36,200 lakh.

Decision of the Committee: The Committee approved the request of M/s. Capgemini Business Services India Private Limited, for increase in the area at SEZ in Republic of Whitefield (Divyasree Techno Park), Bangalore, Karnataka.

2. b) M/s Accenture Services Private Limited

M/s.Accenture Services Private Limited., requested for an extend their current area of 47,000 Sq. ft in incubation facility located at Divysree Technopark SEZ, Ground Floor, Kundalahalli Village, K.R. Puram Hobli, Bangalore East Taluk, Whitefield – 560 066.

The unit has informed that they are withdrawing the proposal.

Capgemini is one of the world leaders in management consulting financial services and Information Technology Services. Apart from management consulting and Information Technology consulting services, Capgemini offers systems integration, technology development, design and business process outsourcing solutions on a global scale. As part of their expansion of business they want to set up a Unit – II for Development of ERP Implementations, Advanced Development & Integration, Application/Infrastructure management and business strategy and transformation at Divyasree Special Economic Zone, Bangalore, Karnataka.

Their projection og exports for next five years are Rs. 52,645 lakh and Net Foreign Exchange is Rs. 48,260 lakh. The application details of the unit are placed at Annexure A

2. Approval for procurement of diesel for captive consumption

a) M/s. Shymaraju & Company (India) Private Limited., Developer.

M/s. Shymaraju & Company (India) Private Limited., Developer of Divyasree Technopark SEZ vide letter dated 25.03.2015 have sought approval for procurement of 100KL of Diesel per quarter for captive consumption. M/s. Shymaraju & Company (India) Limited had given approval for 100 KL of diesel per quarter for captive consumption for a period of 6 months vide our letter dated 16.10.2015. Approval for procurement of diesel is being granted to the Developer since 20.10.2011 depending upon the requirement.

The request of the unit is placed at Annexure B.
