Diwali is known as Festival of Lights ( The word Deepawali means “Rows of Lamps” )
This important five (5) day festival is celebrated among Hindus in all parts of the world.
Generally celebrated in Mid October to Mid November every year.
Celebration of the victory of good over evil. The festival is usually celebrated by:
Decorating Home –Lighting Lamps, Hanging Lanterns, Rangoli ( color Sand Design)
Get Together of Family and Friends. Prayer to god for the Happiness. Exchanging, distributing Gifts and special sweets. Fireworks.
