DIY: HOW TO MAKE A
MULTIPURPOSE
TABLE POT
Up-cycling cardboard packing roll
with the help of cartridge paper, jute,
colour and your creativity
by my Decor8 Craft
WHAT YOU NEED
Cardboard packing roll of any size and
shape
White cartridge paper
Pencil, eraser, sharpener, colour set,
brush, scissor, glue
Jute sheet, glitter, nylon wire
White m-seal / modeling clay
and
your creative mind
Step 1: Cut the cartridge paper equal to
the periphery of the outer side of
packing roll
plus an inch for lapping
Step 2: Take a theme: here I choose a
rainy day
Step 3: Draw with a pencil what you
want (optional), I drew directly
with colour
Preliminary steps to follow
Wet the cartridge paper and draw the
scene seems as rainy day
Add more flowers to give it a garden
look
Add details as green grass
More detailing to look as rainy day
Now cut jute sheet as the shape
shown here and add details with
glittering colour

Take some white m-seal and make a
shape like above
Add jute pieces to the m-seal before it
setsTips: m-seal sets fast, be careful to fix jute as early as possible

Is it look like a butterfly?
Make more butterflies if you wish.
They are now set to fly.
Its time to make the base packing roll.
Apply glue to the outer surface
Affix your painting carefully so that no
bubble formed during fixing. Set aside
to dry it.
