Dj Controllers

• DJ digital controllers are MIDI controllers or USB-to-analog devices used for controlling computer-based DJ software, installed on a personal computer, laptop, tablet device or smartphone.

Funtions

Cue• To cue audio is to

determine the desired initial playback point in a piece of recorded music. DJs use headphones to cue up the start point; this means that the audience cannot hear the playback until the DJ wants them to.

Hot Cues• Like the cues, those are

used to find the place where you want to jump in the song but in a faster way, either to start it from there or to use a sound or voice from it on the mix

Sync• The Synchronize button is

used to make the track where you use it to go with the master bpm, nowadays it's used to have a better fading between songs with huge differences in bpm

Jogs• The Jog Wheels are

physical wheels that control the track in the mixer, you can go forward or backwards with four finger tips, also you can "scratch"

Pitch• From here you can know the

Armonic Key where the track sounds, you can use this to make Armonics mixing and in some new mixers you can change the pitch of a playing song

Mixer• It's the most important part

of the Dj, from here you have the equalization controls, the master volume, the crossfader and the effects controllers

Crossfader• It’s a volume controller

that is used to change between the tracks that are playing, it's where you choose the track that the people will listen to
